30 day song challenge. Day 23.

30 day song challenge: Day 23. A song you think everyone should listen to.

I am going to go very philosophical here and I am picking a song I think everyone knows, but I don't know if everyone really heard the words.

And that song is "What's going on" by the brilliant Marvin Gaye (I love Marvin Gaye.) The lyrics are just so meaningful.

"Mother mother, why are you crying?/brother brother there's too many of us dying" and "only love can conquer hate".

It's also more beautiful because Marvin had the most emotional and soulful voice and he felt every word that he sang. 

Everyone should just listen to Marvin Gaye end of.

30 day song challenge. Day 20.

30 day song challenge: Day 20. A song that has many meanings to you. Oh, this is a tricky one, but I am going to pick a song that I kind of fits a lot of my "life chapters" (even before the song was released) and the lyrics really point to feelings I've had in my life at certain times. And that song is "Numb" by Linkin Park. "I'm tired of being what you want me to be". I felt (especially in school) I tried to be the same as everyone else. I was bullied so I tried to keep my head down, and blend in. But that affected my mental health. Feel a lot better today

I feel much better today and I know that I have done a lot of changes over the last few months and I'm not the person who rushed into things anymore. I have people who support me and I know that I am doing the right thing.
