30 day song challenge day 13.

30 day song challenge: Day 13. A song you like from the 1970's.

I do listen to a lot of 70's music (I listen to anything from the 1950's onwards, it was what my mum and grandma listened to when I was young) and there is a lot of songs from the 70's I love (Starman, 20th Century boy, Bye bye baby, Tiger feet...)

But I had to pick a song that has a personal connection to me.

I am choosing "Knock three times" by  Tony Orlando and Dawn.

When my mum was pregnant with me, she had a name picked out to call me, but her cousin (who was also pregnant at the same time and gave birth a month before her) stole my mum's name. (She lived in New Zealand so my mum forgave her.) And my mum remembered that my granddad (who died before I was born) commented on how he liked the name "Dawn' when he heard the group's songs so I was called Dawn.

And I chose "Knock three times" as everytime I hear it, I think of "the Brittas Empire" when it's sung by Chris Barrie (and I am a fangirl) and it's a very funny scene.
