"Star Trek" captains in order of my favourite's.

I've started re-watching (or finished re-watching, depending on the series) the "classic" Star Trek shows (and the film's, not the new re-boot ones) and I have decided to do a post about the order of my favourite captain's for absolutely no reason at all.

I have based this list on the "classic" shows (TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise) so here goes.

Please note, I know that this list might be conversial 😉

5. Benjamin Sisko. (DS9).
I do like Sisko. He's a good man but I decided that he's my least favourite captain just because he is based on DS9, and I know that he has a lot going on there, but I don't feel that he has the same challenges as the others.

4. Jonathan Archer (Enterprise).
I know a lot of fans would put him at number 5, but he's number 4 on my list because he was faced with alien races that Starfleet didn't know about back then. He had to be diplomatic and he also had the condo to contend with. I did like his relaxed relationship with the crew.

3. Kathryn Janeway (Voyager).
She was in the same situation as Archer, in a way. Voyager was pulled into the delta quadrant and faced the unknown, and she dealt with it by being tough but not afraid to be emotionally vulnerable. She was firm but fair. She also lived by her values and wouldn't put her morals on the line for reward.

2. Jean-Luc Picard (TNG).
I am going to pretend that "Picard" doesn't exist here. Picard is a man that has strong morals, choosing not to rely on violence to solve a problem. He is a true leader and a good man.

1. James T. Kirk (TOS).
I have decided that captain Kirk is my favourite captain. He's not as "peaceful" as Picard but he is an intelligent man. He's cunning and sneaky when he has to be. I love his friendship with Spock and Bones, and just how he was with his entire crew.
